New leads are projects that currently being worked on. When a customer calls and asks for a proposal you can create a project as a 'New Lead'. Keep the 'New Lead' status as you work on data entry, pricing and finalize the proposal.
After you email the proposal to your customer, change the project status to 'Proposal Sent'. Remember to check back in your list of sent proposals once a week to follow up with outstanding proposals.
Congratulations! Once the proposal has been executed you can mark a project as Won. Now you can order the lights and install the project.
